Hoping to gain new friends in the birding community, and expand my knowledge of birds. I am the proud owner of 2 male American budgies (Uno is blue and M.E. is green). I also have a female cockatiel (Buttercup), and a male cockatiel, (Wesley). The cockatiels have laid their first clutch, and I hopefully will get a couple really nice chicks. They have never bred before, and I don't know if these eggs are fertile or not. Hopefully all will go well for the little family.

Welcome to the group! You're obviously not a spammer, so I've changed the settings so your posts will appear on the forum without having to be approved first.
How long have your cockatiels been sitting on the eggs? After 5 days of incubation you can candle the eggs to check for signs of fertility. Another way to check is to look at the color of the eggshells. Cockatiel eggs have a slightly pinkish look when they're first laid, but fertile eggs will lose the pink look after about a week and will be very white.
