Until this new microchip came out, cockatiels were considered to be too small for microchipping. I have no idea what it costs, and the cost will probably vary a lot between different vets. Considering the high price that most vets charge for a simple service like DNA sexing, I'll bet that microchipping isn't cheap.

I wont be having my bird's micro chipped.. My P'lets are way to small for that.. Sorry! I'm a member who does find clipping wings, helps.. Every bird keeper has their own idea's on this subject. Will be interesting if Michael can advise, on Mr Darcy.. fingers crossed.
