Have you got a name for 'no name' yet? Looking at the pictures again I think 'Spider' or 'Spidey' may be a nice name. The way he's in the corner of his cage in the one picture made me think of how spiders can be found in the corner of a room like that

Lucky' name sure is cut out for him. Missing toes, and still managed to stay on. Bob, your name suggestions remind me of something... Spider bird, spider bird, does whatever a spider bird does. He can't swing, from a web, But he can fly, so what's the point? Look out, he's a spider bird! yes, that was necessary.

Yes, Carolyn. We were shocked about Lucky being able to successfully breed, too! That's the entire reason for getting "no name" and Rosey. They were suppose to be a breeding pair. NOT...lol. Lucky truly got lucky hehe.
Rosey sat in the small stainless steel food bowl we have in the bottom of the cage. Lucky took that as his opportunity:) Obviously, it's not an easy task for him, but he did get lucky twice that I saw (once definitely successful, the other appeared to be successful for him, but not Rosey). I also saw him attempt and fail at other locations in the cage. And he takes out his hormonal frustrations on a pet collar hanging inside the cage that has a bell attached to it. lol Gotta get that stress out somehow:~)
Poor "no name"...doesn't have a girl or a name!

Carolyn, I don't think he is successful "several times per day", although he definitely has the desire. Lol.
I just checked the egg(s) today. I have been checking on the fertile one but not counting the, over the last fre days. Ther are now 11 eggs!!! After seeing she was still laying, I had to do what I didn't want to do...remove the cracked eggs from the nest. Lucky, (or Rosey with both being young) has cracked 4 of the eggs. I was trying to leave them because they were infertile and it was just toenail punctures, but one had become dry looking inside so I was afraid of bacteria so o removed them. I will check in a few days for fertility of the eggs again to see if any of the newly laid eggs are fertile. (Of course, I thought she was finished laying so I hadn't marked them....lesson learned!)

That's nice to know:). I'm feeding her NuPreen pellets and so far she's healthy despite laying so many eggs. Just don't want her her body to suffer. Thanks again.
