hi!
my name is Casey, i have a flock of 4. Dally and Tsuka are cockatiels and Mango and Munchlax are peach faced lovebirds... not an easy flock to deal with sometimes as the lovebirds are little brats while the tiels are like little angels in comparison.... i love how well behaved tiels are

i am loving all of the fun smilies!! a lot of them crack me up!

Dally (cockatiel) i got handfed from a breeder, she was my first bird. she was born march 10th 2010. shes gentle and laid back

Tsuka was rescued off of Kijiji, but i do not think his mistreatment was intentional, just lack of education. he came from a smokers home and was housed in a cage too small for 2 cockatiels let alone 3 so he was plucked. He was born March 2nd 2010. He's a little tempermental, but he can be really sweet.

Mango is the older sibling of my lovebirds. He is shy, but fairly gentle for a lovebird. He loves to snuggle with his toys and cuddle with his sister during out of cage time. He is another rescue, again from lack of education... short version: housed in tiny painted antique wood and wire cage, smoked, let dogs lick them, and were manhandled. He was born November 7th 2010.

Munch is the younger sibling. She is a little spitfire. She's bold, aggressive, and just about the worst trouble maker ever found. She came from the same home as Mango. She loves to play and cause trouble, though she is more interested in people than her brother. She was handfed but not handled correctly so very much dislikes hands. she likes us on her terms. She was born November 12th 2010.

Theyre very cute, but theyre trouble makers. the tiels are the best for behaviour lol they never cause trouble, they just attract it lol

I need to catch up on the "bird of the month" stuff and can probably do it within the next couple of weeks. If it's OK with you I'd like to use Munch's picture for the November bird of the month. The picture would be featured on the main website for the whole month (or longer if I don't do December on time). It's been a while since I've had anything to use besides my own pictures of cockatiels and wild hummingbirds. The hummers shouldn't really be eligible, but I thought it would be good to take a break from the tiels sometimes.
