My name is Connie, and I currently have 3 adult, one young, and 3 baby cockatiels. Sunshine and Oscar are sitting on 3 eggs, and 3 babies currently. A very exciting time. Angel was hatched on Christmas day, so she is young. She was my first baby to hatch successfully. I hope to learn from all the knowledgeable people here.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I am still learning how to navigate this site, but look forward to learning from all of you. I just had baby #4 hatch this afternoon. One wf, and 3 pale yellow down babies so far. 2 more eggs to go. Mom and Dad are doing a great job. They are making it difficult to keep up with their food supply, since they are eating about all I put in front of them. Lots of fresh food, pellets, and not as much of the seed being eaten these days. Happy to see my male eating healthy finally.

Cockatiels prefer to feed soft foods to their babies because it's easier to digest. Good quality whole-grain bread is my birds' number one favorite baby food, along with pellets and sprouts. Congrats on the babies! Can you post photos of both of the parents? We may be able to figure out what mutations and splits your birds are and what the possible outcomes your babies can be.

This is a pic of Oscar's back. Sunshine is pure white with dark eyes. I have tried every light, in every direction to see if I can see red in her eyes. No go.
