My name is Connie, and I currently have 3 adult, one young, and 3 baby cockatiels. Sunshine and Oscar are sitting on 3 eggs, and 3 babies currently. A very exciting time. Angel was hatched on Christmas day, so she is young. She was my first baby to hatch successfully. I hope to learn from all the knowledgeable people here.

Cockatiels prefer to feed soft foods to their babies because it's easier to digest. Good quality whole-grain bread is my birds' number one favorite baby food, along with pellets and sprouts. We have an article on sprouting at http://www.littlefeatheredbuddies.com/i ... uting.html When my birds are breeding I give them a little bit of cooked egg every day too - it's loaded with nutrients and they love it.

Welcome to the forum! New forums are always going to be tough to navigate at first but after a couple of days, you get the hang of it. Congrats on the babies! Can you post photos of both of the parents? We may be able to figure out what mutations and splits your birds are and what the possible outcomes your babies can be. I wish you great luck and success with your baby cockatiels!

This is Momma (Sunshine), then Oscar (Daddy), and then Angel (baby hatched on Christmas) This is a pic of Oscar's back. Sunshine is pure white with dark eyes. I have tried every light, in every direction to see if I can see red in her eyes. No go.
