If she accepts the scrambled egg, you might want to give it to her every day for maybe a week. As a general rule it's not good to feed egg every day during non-breeding season, since egg is high in fat and cholesterol in addition to all the wonderful nutrients in it. But if she has any nutritional deficiencies to make up for as a result of breeding it will help her catch up faster. It won't hurt her if it's just for a short period of time.

She ate all the egg I offered yesterday, and this morning. I will keep adding it in for a week, then go to how often? I am really hoping this is the issue, and it helps her to be healthy again. She has always been active, drinks, eats, normal poop when not laying/sitting eggs. She comes out, and still wants attention. She is just missing feathers. I was thinking it was something missing in the diet, but didn't put Vitamin D with it.

The amount of egg that I've seen recommended for cockatiels is a serving of 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per bird once or twice a week, and that sounds about right to me. You could go to every other day for a week then to once or twice a week for the long term. I hope it helps her! I give my birds egg twice a week and they REALLY appreciate it.

I have 5 babies hatched, and heard the 6th one chirping in the egg this morning. Mom is doing better. I need to get her clean, since her tail is really dirty. Want to wait till all babies are hatched before I mess with mamma too much. I think adding in the egg has helped. Mom and Dad go for the scrambled egg first each morning. they are being amazing parents. :)

If you provide a shallow bowl of water that she can bathe in she might clean herself up. My hens seem to like wallowing in water better during the breeding period than at any other time. Parent birds are supposed to wet their feathers to bring moisture into the nest, but my girls didn't read the book and don't go back into the nest until they're completely dry.

There is a book? I obviously didn't give it to my birds because they did the same thing.

You can also wet a paper towel and turn the egg on it to moisten the shell. It really helps. I was really obsessive about bringing moister to the eggs, so I gave my birds a must at least every other day. I would also mist the sides of the box. And occasionally, I would roll the egg on a wet paper towel. Not to mention that on some days the humidity was 90F

The 6th egg hatched this morning with no issues. They have 3 white down, and 3 yellow down babies. I was putting wet towels in the room, and rinsing them twice a day to keep the humidity up. Sunshine was bathing in the bigger water dish, so I change that water out about 3 times a day. No issues with humidity this clutch. :)
