There's no need to feel sad, your babies are obviously in a kind and loving home, and they just need some time to settle in and get to know each other. Give them lots of love and attention, and also give them some time and space where they can learn that they're actually OK by themselves. It might be helpful to give them an activity that will keep them busy for a while without you there, for example a fresh bird-safe branch for them to destroy. Tearing things up is a cockatiel's second favorite activity! (Their number one favorite activity is making babies, alas.)

I don't think Bindi is likely to stop eating Harrisons. She obviously won't eat as much of it when other foods have been added to her diet, but that's OK. The pellets have nutrients in them that seeds lack, and her body will crave these nutrients so she'll still want to eat it. My birds have access to seed all the time and also to about 5 kinds of pellets including Harrisons. They eat plenty of seeds but they also eat the pellets of their own free will, just simply because they like them.

If you feel that your birds aren't eating enough pellets you can limit the quantity of seed to a more moderate amount, but please make sure that no one is going hungry.

I do try to give them plenty to do. I've started making my own toys now, as fed up of spending £10.00 a pop on a toy, only to have them ignore the blessed thing. Even things I am 100% sure will go down a storm. It seems, as with so much in life, it's the simple things that get the best response. I have found they love a good paper back !
I am giving them time together everyday.
They will sit and eat millet together for a while- earlier today they even touched! And I'm sure Jamanbread tried to preen one of Bindi's tail feathers- at least I didn't pick up any aggression with it.
It all goes wrong and gets quite scary when they both come onto me and get close. Particularly if one is on my head, and the other on my shoulder. Its really scary because they often get their little raptor feet caught up in my frizzy hair, and if they both were to get stuck at the same time, and I was unable to separate them, it could get really gruesome!

Someone told me to put a mirror in each cage, and watch for when they stop beaking off at the reflected bird, and then they will be ready to become homies. I don't want to though because I have heard it leads to egg laying, and turning themselves inside out and other such weirdness. What is the general consensus on mirrors?

On the photo front- I am trying! I'm having technology 'issues'. I have to delete LOADS of total rubbish that I have stored on my phone before I can do it. This is proving harder than I thought. Ha!
