Hello, I am a new bird owner. I adopted two Budgies that are about two years old. Problem is I can't get them to interact with me. I've had them for 3 months now. Can I please get some help with them? My wife says I spoil them. I've grown to care about them quite a bit. Thank you. :feedback:

Welcome to the group! Food bribery is usually a good way to make friends. You basically hold treats in your hand for them to eat. If they're not ready for that yet there are ways to work up to it. Here are a couple of helpful articles:

Welcome to Little Feathered Buddies!! :welcome:

I agree. Millet will be your best friend to accomplish bird taming. We would love to see photos of your little guys. Are they males or females? We have members here who can identify that for you if you don't know.

Where did you adopt your budgies from?
It can be hard being patient when it takes a long time for taming. It can take especially long with older birds who have not been handled regularly. It's not that they don't like you. They are just nervous.
I agree about millet and treats being a way to win their hearts.
