My name is Christine, I have four birds...Joey,Jemimah, Kellogg's & Crispy..
Crispy came yesterday, and has escaped twice...She has damaged her :feedback: cere, I don't quite know what to do.

She has been eating and hanging upside down, so I figure she cant be too bad.
Can anyone advise me

If she's acting normal and if the damage is slight she is probably OK. The cere will heal and should go back to looking normal. Can you post a picture?

Welcome to the group!

Big :welcome: If the cere is not bothering her I'd just keep an eye on it... should be ok...

I realise I know nothing about budgies, they are mostly ok having recently acquired them....
We have a blue budgie Joey who just sits on his perch looking very depressed and bullied by the hen...We have had them two months, and he has done nothing except sit on his perch looking miserable.
I have talked to him, sung to him, tried to feed him, not a chirp.
So I thought if we bought some companions he might perk up.
But its made him worse, during which time Crispy escaped and banged her cere...He is just a ball of fluffed feathers with wild eyes
Can anyone out there assist me.
:thanks:

I would put Joey in a different cage so the hen can't bully him. Any birds that are compatible with each other can be kept in the same cage, and those that are incompatible should be prevented from bullying each other.

Give him a cage on his own... lots of toys...
He will more than likely turn into a loving bird... spend time with him out of cage time on your hand.... good luck
