So glad to have found this site and forum.
I currently have three tiels.
Lucky: rescued him from a pet store where he was being bullied by other tiels. He has only one toenail om each foot, due to the bullies biting his feet. He is my precious baby! And, he is getting ready to be a father:)
Rosey: Female whom I purchased along with "No Name" male as a breeding pair. The birds had been together with no luck of breeding, and when I Brought them home, Rosey decided she was on love with Lucky instead. They have 9 eggs in their nestbox and not sure if she is finished laying. (See my post of concern on breeding board.)
No Name: I was told he would never be able to be handled. As of now, I pick him up bare handed and he flies away when he gets the chance, But he rarely bites and calls for me to let him out of his cage. We still Cannot decide on a name for him. (Suggestions appreciated)
I look forward to getting to know everyone!

tielfan wrote: If "no name" turns out to be a girl not a boy, it would explain why Rosey didn't have any breeding success until Lucky came along, and it might also explain why you have so many eggs now. The typical clutch size is 4 to 6 eggs, but there are some hens who go overboard and lay 13 or some crazy number like that. The "no name" male is not in the same cage with Lucky and Rosey. I'm going to check closer as to gender of "no name". Lol

Can pics be uploaded directly to forum post? If so, how?

Okay, I have them on photobucket so here they are! First is my "No name" male lol: This is my sweet male, Lucky: And my active female, Rosey: Lucky and Rosey are inseparable! I would love to have someone help to confirm that the gray is indeed a male. I see no bars on his tail at all. Also, I think Lucky is a Cinnamon pied and Rosey is a Lutino. Is that right? And what is the technical color of "No name", also?
