Are they usually this keen on cat food? They might have a craving for protein right now, to help them rebuild the muscle and other tissue they lost while they couldn't eat properly. A little cooked egg every day would be very helpful until they're back to where they should be - it's high in protein, fat, and minerals/vitamins, which they need right now. The combined nutrients from grain and cooked beans will also make complete protein. Even handfeeding formula would help them rebuild if you can get them to eat it. Pellets and/or nutriberries are high-nutrition too.
Oh, you know, that makes a lot of sense. I just thought they like the crunch and it tastes like their pellets (yes, I taste all my animal's food). I'll give them some egg and chicken tomorrow and get them some Nutriberries. They haven't had them yet since I've had them. I haven't bought them in years. The last time I did, Beck and Mackenzie were brooding and Teak went on a Nutriberry kick and wouldn't eat anything else. That whole flock was at least 2 years ago.
