How is Moon doing? We're concerned about the situation and hoping for the best.

Sorry guys! I just saw that this thread was updated

I didn't take him to the vet yet. My mom has been very stressed out and I'm just trying to find a time when she is feeling better.
Moon is in a small cage so that he won't break them from flying in the aviary. He is molting and he is growing all his flights back but
there is still a black pimple on his foot.

If the black spot isn't spreading then hopefully that means that the problem has been contained and isn't getting worse. Does he use the foot normally or does he still act like it hurts?

When you type a reply, the icons on the left side keep moving. One of them just made me think a tiny insect was running across the monitor screen lol.

I know, I usually click 'view new posts' but maybe while I was looking at the other threads, this one vanished from this list so I didn't realize it was updated until you updated it.

That is pretty funny! :D

I'm so glad that he's using the foot normally now! Maybe it has healed up pretty well on its own. Does he still have a crooked toe or did it straighten itself out? A crooked toe isn't a big deal as long as it doesn't interfere significantly with his ability to use the foot.

I am so relieved that he feels better! Thank you for the update, Baruch let's hope that he gets back to healthy 100% soon.

Glad that your bird is improving, otherwise treatment should not be delayed; I've lost my bird because of delaying in pulling out the broken quill. he lost too much blood. And died couple of weeks later.

Welcome to the forum! :D

I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to loose them! I forgot to update about Moon, I put him in a small cage and his wing grew! He is finally molting those bloody feathers from the attack. I am not sure about his foot, it looks a little dry and crusty.
