Yes she does exactly like the bird in The video.

I don't know but something about what you said reminds me of egg binding. Is there any way you can get her to a vet? Can you give a call to Sussane? Maybe Carolyn can ask her to check this thread.

Yes, the tail bobbing in the video is normal. My birds do it too. I'm not trying to say that she is egg bound. I just remembered something about it because they had to put the bird in a steamed room to moist the vent tissues.

Thank you Baruch, the bird room is now very warm and steamy, and I am pretty confused because she stopped bobbing the tail now. But she seems a bit short of breath.

Hmm. Wow. I really don't know what to say. Let's see what Carolyn says. I really hope she heals. She is my best friend, remember?

Luckily my vet is on today, so I will give them a calls at 8.30am and try to get an emergency appointment. I just pray that she doesn't go downhill before then

That's good! Like Stephanie said, it would be good if you can add gaterade/powerade or coconut water to her water. It will give her the energy she lost. Let's hope she at least stays the same for the night until you get a vets opinion. Try to get some sleep yourself. It must be hard for you too since you are probably worried sick.

I do not know what is wrong with poor Trilly, but seeing as she is a major eggmama, she may be experiencing some complications.
I wish one of us was a vet, but just reading about symptoms rather than actually seeing the animal makes it hard to determine anything, unfortunately. Coconut water tastes awful the first time around, certainly an acquired taste, so Trilly may not take to it. My tiels seemed to like Gatorade the best, so any sports drink or water with added electrolytes is good for a weak bird.

I just took her to the vet, he inspected the duct and didn't find any egg in the lower part but he said that there is definitely something forming on the upper part.he said that from what I described in her behaviour its almost surely an egg related trouble so he's keeping her in the hospital cage until she has passed the egg. If it's not happening today he will take her home with him tonight, and hopefully I will be able to collect her tomorrow. In the meantime Frank has abandonedly the nest and he's freaking out because he can't see her. If someone can make it is my little powerhouse, so I am very hopeful that she'll be OK.

I had a feeling it was something egg related because you said she liked the steam. I know she will make it because you took her to a vet before the problem formed into a big mess. Now Trilly is under professional care.
