I heated up the formula more and I think he took it a little bit better. We don't have coconut water....could I give him anything else? We have coconut oil...could I mix that with water? Would it be the same thing? I tried getting the parents to feed him, but all the mom does is pluck him. The dad would feed the baby a little bit, but the baby is too weak to beg. I tried to play youtube videos of babies begging for food, but it didn't do anything. Please if you know anything you must help me! I don't want to lose one of my babies! :'(

That's great! CVS and Wallgreens carry it. I bet publix will have it too. Try going to your local grocery store. Coconut water is a very common item grocery stores carry. They are located in the fridge.

If they aren't sodium deficient, I bet they are trying to make they're babies fledge so they can prepare for their next clutch. What I did was I took all the babies out and put them in the cage and took down the nest box. It helped wonders!!
But, if you have babies that are younger than 3 weeks, I wouldn't take out the nest. You will just have to co-parent 3 times a day until they are ready to fledge

Have you been checking the temperature of the formula? The temperature is critical, if it's too hot it will burn the baby and if it's too cold it will be hard to digest. Talk to Susanne Russo ASAP, she's the best expert on problems like this. Her Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ICR.unite/ She was online a few minutes ago and will probably be back soon. She's a member here but doesn't usually post on the board. I'll alert her to this thread and tell her to watch out for when you join ICR, and Baruch I'll leave it up to your judgement about whether to call her or not.

So far, I've been able to give the baby about 1 and a half cc's every 30-45 min. Is that good? He won't let me give him any more. My dad went to the store and got coconut water...... I have been using it as a replacement for the water for 2 feedings now. How much longer should I use it? How many times do I need to get up in the middle of the night to feed the baby?
