I know you suggested that. I guess my brain wasn't working well yesterday because my mind was too shocked from the accident. I am much more relaxed now.

You definitely need to fix up that aviary! The wire spacing isn't safe for cockatiels if a bird can get his head stuck in it, and small predators and pests (like snakes and mice) can slip right through it.
I guess there's one bright side to this accident. Now you have an additional argument for why you need to do this project.

Thanks. I forgot to add that he can open his mouth without a problem. Those seeds are a life saver! I am giving him his regular food today. I am also putting him back in the aviary.

It's good news that he's well enough to go back in the aviary. On the other hand you won't have your little buddy in the house with you any more, and that's too bad.

Yeah, it is pretty sad. But I don't want to take advantage of my mom. I feel like if I keep my word, they will trust me more. Tommy sang and heart winged Cloudia! I saw him do it more than twice today. I hope she accepts him.

I am glad he's doing better. Baruch I hope you know that I have a great affection for you and the last thing I want to do is distress you. But organising yourself for when a vet is needed is something you must do. As soon as possible! I don't want to encourage you to lie to your parents but you need to find a way to get to a vet when needed. You will probably ignore this post as you have done in the past, but ignoring this issue won't make it go away.
