Good for you, that will help keep your birds safe. BTW it's very nice of your father to do his smoking outside. Some parents refuse to do that, and it endangers the kids as well as the birds.

Oh he ALWAYS smoke outside and my mom doesn't smoke so yeah problem is... when he comes back in the house after he's done smoking and goes past the birds.

Sometimes I try to fan the smell away. Couldn't think of anything else.
