It would be best to determine whether there is really a blood feather (one that has a blood supply in the shaft of the feather quill) or if there has been bleeding at the point where a mature feather attaches to the skin. If it's a damaged blood feather it's probably best to pull it, but if it's a mature feather it's probably OK to leave it. It looks like there's been a night fright with feathers knocked loose, and it's likely that these feathers will probably fall out within a few days. If the wing gets bashed again there could be more bleeding, so do what you can to prevent more accidents until there's been some time to heal.

Is that Moon? He's been having a rough time lately. Has his foot gotten any better?

Here is a picture of his foot

It's still orange and today I saw a black bump with puss inside, I got some out but it's still black

Here is his wing

I'm definitely asking my parents to take him to a vet. We have one nearby but I'm not sure how to convince my parents

The foot doesn't look normal and pus is a bad sign. Does he use it normally or does it seem to be painful? That by itself is a good reason to take him to the vet.

It's hard to tell what's going on with the wing. The really long feathers probably don't have a blood supply but the shorter feathers probably do. I also can't tell whether the blood came from multiple locations or from just one. He's already lost a lot of blood and it could be dangerous if this starts bleeding again, but it's not a good idea to yank a bunch of flight feathers without knowing which ones are a problem and which ones aren't. Another good reason to take him to the vet.

I asked my mom and she said no, she feels like I'm treating them like human and she said that sister and father can successfully have children because they don't have 20 something chromosomes.

She said that bird vets cost more than the bird itself. I'm stuck and frustrated and worried for moon. She said it will heal by itself

Vet visits frequently do cost more than the bird itself, but a bird is a friend/family member not a machine to be replaced if the repair costs are more than the price of a new one. Casey told you before that he might lose the toe, but I'm concerned that you might lose the whole bird if he gets gangrene or some other type of systemic infection. I know you're a member of Casey's board so I suggest that you go there and talk to her some more about the toe. Thanks to Munch and Tsuka she has experience in do it yourself toe treatment.

The feather problem will fix itself if you can keep him from bashing the wing again before it's had time to heal. Is it possible to keep him in a smaller cage for a while so he doesn't have to contend with the other birds?

Baruch, I remember you saying that you have some savings. Why don't you just take the bird to the vet without asking for permission? I am not inciting you to disobey, but it's not like you want to spend your money on a car or something like that... That would require permission of course.
Just put him in a box and take him to the nearest vet.
I am no expert but pus doesn't sound good at all and the wing is messy. He needs care from a professional.

I don't mind spending my money on my birds, I have nothing else to spend it on anyways. I just have to ask my father to take me. I'll keep you posted

Did you take your bird to the vet?
