It's the younger one, (s)he is behind the older one. I'm going to post the video, If you look in the mouth you can see some food. I don't know if that might give you guys a clue?

It has to be tomorrow since it's dark outside and the mom doesn't leave the nest at night.

The baby does look a bit red but the situation might improve right after dad gets done feeding it. Maybe it's my imagination but I think the color was looking better by the end of the video!

If it still looks red tomorrow you can carefully assist feed it some fluid. srtiels has information at http://www.internationalcockatielresour ... hicks.html Besides the skin color, look at the baby's abdomen to see if the intestines look dark.

Sounds like a plan. I do remember the baby's skin tone lightening up later on the day. I'll make sure to check tomorrow.

Babies can get dehydrated during hatch if the process takes a long time, so it's possible that this might be the reason it looked red. But dad is on duty so the problem is probably solved now.
