I can't separate them now! Beaker is doing it too! Jaid can tell I'm distressed, because when Beaker goes down to the floor, Jaid will walk up to him and nudge him to move. He doesn't unless I ask him to move by gently nudging him with my finger. I put a soft blanket on the floor and a cuttlebone, broccoli and millet and water. I asked Jaid if he was alright and I wrapped my finger around a cage bar, he put his foot on my hand and held my hand for a while. He's never done that before. I cannot get them to the vet until Friday. We do not have an emergency vet right now. They do not see exotics. So I'm hoping they will pull through and be okay.

If you're not a member already, I'd recommend that you join Susanne's facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ICR.unite/ and ask her advice. Friday is a long time from now, and she knows more about home remedies than anyone I know. If you'll tell me what name you're going to use, I can alert her to watch out for it and give quick approval. You can send a PM if you don't want to post it on the forum.

Actually, Jaid looks a little better. He ate his millet and broccoli and took a considerable amount of cuttlebone. I normally whistle while I move around the house and when I walked by whistling, he joined in. He even repaid my kiss. :D

Now Beaker, on the other hand, is eating just like Jaid, but he has now become sneezy. Almost like he contracted the sniffles. He it sounded like dry sneezes though. I didn't really feel anything when he sneezed in my direction. That's good right?

I really don't know. In any case there are many times that I've had "birdie snots" on my neck from a perfectly healthy sneeze, so a wet sneeze doesn't always mean something bad. Hopefully he's just got a bit of tiel dust in his nose.

He seems more alert, and screamed at me when I walked into my room. He hasn't eaten much since this morning, when they both scarfed down some broccoli and seeds. When I walked in, I did and analysis of them and found one of them vomited all over a perch and the bars. I assume it was Jaid because he wolfed down millet and it looked like millet seeds in the vomit. Both their poop has returned to normal size and color, but both are still tucked under.

Poor babies! I hope they feel better soon.
Once Bubu scared me to death vomiting millet spray all over me, but it was an isolated incident due to eating too much of it... Maybe Jaid did overeat a bit too.

I'm starting to think so too. He did eat a lot. Even some hulls. I just checked on them. Jaid is making more minor sounds and Beaker looks like he doesn't feel good. He is still tucked and pressed his head up against Jaid's neck for cuddles. Poor boy.

Hi Stephanie, I have been having some computer problems and just saw your messages about Beaker and Jaid. I hope they are doing better now. I was very sorry to hear the news about them.
