About a hour ago, Skye Byrd was chasing Jasper around the cage.. He jumped down to the bottom and when he did, his little foot went between the bars.. He immediately, picked up that foot and when he would put it back on the ground, it would come right back up again.. I have separated them for the night, and Jasper is on his perch, with that same leg tucked up under him... He's not doing his normal 'night chatting/ beak noises' like he normally does when he goes to sleep..He's not doing anything else out of the normal, but should I be really worried about this? I haven't seen him walk/hop on the leg yet, but I immediately intervened and moved him to a safe cage...Since being in this other cage, he's not moved from the perch I placed him on originally....Thank you all so much for your advice on this...I will try to take pics as soon as I can when he's not paying attention to me...

After keeping a close eye on Jasper, he is sitting on his perch, with the leg that went thru the bars under him with his weight on it.. He's not totally sturdy on that leg, is having to bring other leg down to catch his balance.. He did do about 30 seconds worth of chirpping, but that's it... and the way he's sleeping right now is weird.. Kinda really leaning more than normal...

It's a good sign that he's standing on it, and standing on just that one leg at that. It's probably OK and will get better on its own, but it wouldn't hurt to see a vet to be sure.
