Please help! I was wrestling with Jaid on the floor of the cage. Beaker climbed above me on a higher perch. He did the movements like he was preparing to go to the bathroom and just cause I'm an over protective parront, I just watched him and there was red in it! He strained just a teeny tiny bit, and it was a well formed poop, I just saw a flash of red in it. It vanished into the cage sheddings and I can't find it now.

Oh no. Your probably scared.
I tried to find information online but I don't want to post it because I'm not 100% sure if it's your case and I really don't want to get anyone scared or worried for no reason. I really hope he gets better. Can you examine Beaker's poops for the next hour and see if it gets better or worse. I am wishing you all the best.

Did he eat anything red?

No... but wait. I fed them some new vegetables. Maybe one of them isn't good for birds. Give me a second...

I just checked, all the vegetables I fed them are safe.
Now I don't know what can be doing it.

Is his poop still red? It might be hard to tell since he lives in the same cage as Jaid. I really hope it isn't too severe. Is it possibly a sight-effect from AGY?

I think I figured it out. Someone (probably Jaid) had a massive poop in the water dish and I think he drank out of it. It was HUGE. Will he be okay? I don't know how it passed by me, but I gave some some fresh water and he drank some. Will the clean stuff purge his system? He is acting alright and eating fine.

Have there been any more poops with red in it? If not it was probably something he ate that wasn't necessarily a digestible food item, or it might even have been an optical illusion. Drinking "poop soup" water doesn't usually cause problems, it's disgusting to us but any bacteria in it are things that the bird already has in his body.
If he IS still having red poops, please post pictures so we can take a look at it. I'm not good at poopology but we'll have a better idea of what's going on.

That's good news! He's probably OK, but it won't hurt to play poop inspector for a while.
