Thank you, I try to do my best, but it's something we have not much choice about, right?!

Barbara, what led you to the decision to get her implant? I understand - chronic egg laying... but how far/bad it went?

She was hospitalised twice because she couldn't pass her egg, Chipper, she has been raised as breeding hen until I bought her from the bastard who had her and other two as well. So now her mission in life is nesting, no matter the season. Her husband is very family orientated and that makes everything harder.
The implant was my last option, and even though she is still a bit broody she hasn't laid any eggs and has calmed down a lot.
She was like possessed, she didn't think of anything else, a real nightmare. I think there is an oldish thread about her, I have been annoying everyone about the problem since the forum restarted lol

Miss Trilly scared us pretty badly a couple of times with her egg-laying problems. I'm glad that the implant has made her settle down.

Thank you tielfan, she seems calmer, now her and Frank spend all the time together grooming each other and I saw him feeding her yesterday. I am always vigilant but they are so damn sweet as couple!
