I'm very worried for him. He is sleeping most of the day, he looks awful, his feathers are in horrible condition. I'm worried that he's going to die. It's going to be around 40F tonight. Should i bring him indoors? I'm going to take pictures of him so you can see what he looks like.

I put [URGENT] in the title because I need to know if I should bring him indoors before tonight. I don't want to lose him.

Monitor his poop, make sure he eats, and try to get some water in him.

I'm so sorry! I hope he's OK. Is he still eating and drinking? If not, maybe give him some watered down gatorade or plain coconut water (the organic kind for drinking you see at whole foods and such)? I know I've read people putting their sick birds in a sort of hospital cage that was basically made to be warm with a heating light or a heating pad underneath it, etc. I remember reading that first aid stuff is about keeping energy intake up (gatorade, coconut water) and warmth.

Good luck, I hope he's OK!

I made a typo. I meant to say GRIFFIN is sick. I edited my post to Griffin.

His poops...not good. It looks like he has a yeast infection. I added lemon to his water and probiotics to his food. I don't think he's going to make it out alive. Keep him in your thoughts. He needs it urgently.

Keep him warm, put a fleece over his cage, leave one side open, don't let any drafts get at him...
best in a quiet room...
A little cider vinegar in his drinking water.. will help.. If he isn't eating, get some baby bird formula, mix it up and spoon feed him... a little water in a syringe, to drop feed him water is good to use also...
Keep him warm, quiet and peaceful till he is better.. sleep will help him heal..
Good luck

sorry, I just now saw this. You did the right thing bringing him inside. Keep him warm - you can cover one end of the cage with a towel and shine a lamp on it so the heat passes into the cage, or put a heating pad under one end of the cage.
Give him any kind of food that he's willing to eat. A little bit of cayenne pepper added to the food or water/gatorade will also help fight against nasty organisms in the digestive tract.

Is he tame enough to eat from your hand? You can hold millet spray up close to his beak for him to eat. Once when Vlad was having problems, I soaked some millet seeds in Gatorade and held them on my fingertip for him to eat. It provided calories and electrolytes at the same time.

I just saw him, hes very active. His feathers dont look as bad as it did in the aviary. Im going to put him on an extremely healthy diet to get him back on his feet again. Ill keep him with me for at least until the end of this winter.
