I just saw Coco's head is bleading, like, not dripping blood, but you can see he's wounded.

I really don't know what to do, I'm very worried, please help me and tell me what to do.

Do you have any idea what happened? Is he behaving normally?

Probably the best thing to do is to gently wash the wound if you can, and put a very small amount of antiseptic on it, like Neosporin.

Is it possible that he was bitten by another animal? The wound looks sort of like tooth marks, or even peck marks from a bird with a straight bill. If it's an animal bite you need to get some antibiotics as soon as possible, because the germs in mammal saliva are dangerous to birds. If you can talk to a veterinarian they will tell you what to do.

I'm not sure what happened, he was on my shoulder and I saw blood on his head, I'm not really sure what happened, though I believe he was bitten by Kiwi before I grabbed him, I think it's very unlikely for that to happen becauese Kiwi doesn't bite too hard.

I'm not sure what neosporin is, and I already washed it off, but somehow, it won't come off. He doesn't look freaked out at all, but his wound looks like it hurts a lot.

Omg, I just saw Coco scartching his head with his foot on the same spot... Could that be it? Could he be scratching so hard he's wounding himself?

Oh, and it wasn't a wild animal lr wild bird, if it were to be an animal though, it would be either Pip, or Kiwi.

Kiwi must be your other cockatiel. This probably isn't a cockatiel bite. They don't usually bite each other hard, and when they do bite they usually go for the foot not the head. I'm not sure it's possible for a cockatiel to cause a wound like that on the head, because I don't think they could grip it that well with their beak.

There is blood so we know that there must be a cut or break in the skin. Can you tell whether it's a big break or a small one? If it's a small one then it will probably heal pretty well on its own. As long as some other animal like a dog or cat wasn't involved, there probably isn't a major risk of infection.

He's probably not wounding himself. But you could check his claws to make sure that there isn't a rough broken edge.

I would say that from a scale of 1-10 he has like a 4 or 5

He keeps on scratching so much, and I try to stop him, but I'm not sure I should let him scratch himself

His nails are very sharp

He might be scratching now because the wound is annoying him. Maybe he will stop scratching if you put him to bed, in a room that is very dark so he will sleep (I hope) instead of staying awake and messing with the wound. If you can stop him from scratching for a few hours, maybe it will be healed enough in the morning that he will stop scratching it.

Do these kind of wounds heal quickly? He looks kind of weird, like, more serious than normal.
