It's my first time going to a vet today. I'm pretty nervous. Has anyone had any good experience with vets that can tell me and calm me down a little. I'm nervous.

I've had good experiences with taking birds to the vet. The biggest question with emergency clinics is whether they've got a bird vet on duty when you need one, but head injuries are pretty common in birds so you'll be in good hands if there's somebody there who has any experience at all with them.

I've had good experiences with Avian vets... I use the same one always.... its a round trip of 140 miles for me but he's good... He saved my P'let when her hip and knee were broken... Don't worry they are very good... much better than an ordinary vet.... Let us know how it goes..
