I am glad to see Pretty Bird pellets recommended. The only pellet my birds eat so far is Nutriberries. However, I have to crush them for the budgies, and this is kind of hard.

I am going to try a small bag of Pretty bird and see if the budgies will eat it.

So far, they have rejected Harrisons and Zupreme fruit blend.

My bird is Lafeber bird. He eats them and likes it. Try putting pellets higher than the seed dish. It works for Rio.

Indeed, Licy absolutely loves the nutriberries. :D Alex on the other hand, is yet to figure out exactly what they're for, so he's a little hesitant.

The dog loves them too. I guess no mater how much a bird will like them, they'll always save some for the dog.

I actually ran out a little while ago, and I'm gonna have to buy some more next time I'm in petsmart.

I don't know about the small tub, but Amazon has the best price for the big tub and they deliver it to your door so you don't have to go anywhere. Of course it helps if you have Amazon Prime membership or enough other stuff to buy to qualify for free shipping. I'm sure you'd want the small size not the large.

Umm, I didn't want to make a thread about this because it's just a quick question... I hope I don't interrupt. Is it okay for the tiels to eat budgie pellets? There's no cockatiel pellets where I live, and they seem to enjoy those more than the specialized cockatiel pellets. I was wondering if it was okay for them to eat...

Of course they are just different in size and maybe a extra/less ingredient.

as always, lots of stuff. I believe there was a 25 lb bag of rabbit food in there :)
I get bird food and toys, rabbit food, treats, and toys, just whatever I like at the moment and what proved to be a success. This parcel was delivered at the beginning of December so I don't remember exactly.
I posted links for some of my birds' favorite toys from Foster and Smith at JustCoco's thread "what should I get in US"

Budgie food is fine for cockatiels. A lot of times all the pellets from the same company are all the same formula, and they just make them in different sizes for different sized birds. Even if it's a different formula it's OK. Budgies and cockatiels come from the same habitat and pretty much eat the same foods in the wild, so they have similar nutritional needs. Cockatiels can handle some seeds that are too big for budgies, but both of them mostly eat grass seed in the wild.
