I've finally got my blood tubes from Avian Biotech and I've taken the sample to send off for Skye. Wasn't fun, didn't get much blood from the quick like I normally would but managed to get enough. Felt awful for stressing her out

A local seller has been called out for selling birds with PBFD recently, specifically IRNs and plumheads. I'm concerned that if that is where she came from because to be honest I don't know a lot about her. IRN are sold like no tomorrow here in the UK with little thought and it concerns me that people don't quarantine

The sample will arrive at the lab tomorrow before 1pm and I should have the results early next week. Fingers and toes crossed

Thank you guys! AB contacted me today and I was like wow that was fast. Turns out they had misread one of my card numbers and couldn't take the payment. Sorted that out. They said I should expect my results around Wednesday and no later than Friday. I just want to know as soon as possible so I can breathe
