Good morning... anyone come across their tiel
Have a lot of mucous coming either from the ear
or nose.... this happened to Obi this morning
he has been very well up till now..
Any advice welcome....
Waiting for the avian vets to open

I've not personally experienced this but it sounds like it could be an upper respiratory infection of some sort. Let us know how you get on with your vet! Hope it's nothing too serious and it can fixed quickly

Can't get an appointment with the avian vet till
Friday... so I'm dosing him with baytril.....
He's bringing the mucous by by his beak....
I've b put him in a small cage and keeping him warm...
Don't know what else to do

That's really all you can do at this point. Keep an eye on him to see if he's eating and pooping well. I hope everything turns out all right!

put a heating pad under half the cage and cover it with blanket or beach towel. keeping him warm 85 to 90 degrees. make sure that he perches are low so that he can sit right above the heating pad, also put his food& water dishes low also. and if your house has dry air, please get a vaporizer running, the humidity should be 30 to 40%. if possible put a large like Dutch oven on back burner of the stove on lowest setting or a Crockpot filled with water and allow it to simmer slowly adding water as needed.

He is a lot better today...
Eating, drinking and pooping like normal.....
Why do our birds frighten us like this?
