Most nonstick pans are NOT safe to use around birds, but you would have to ask the manufacturer to be sure of what they put on it.

PTFE and PFOA is the main bad stuff that you need to watch out for. Stuff that's labeled eco-friendly may be safe, but I don't really know for sure. Personally I would feel a little nervous about it, and do something to safeguard the birds just in case. Like closing the bird room door and/or opening a window.

I thought everybody knows I don't have a bird room. They are in the living room during the day that is connected to the kitchen because there is no doors between them. At night they are in the bedroom but I can't only cook when they sleep.
I used PTFE and PFOA cookware all the time with no problems. Right now, our stove is broken, that's why I got this electric skillet.

All my birds are in the large kitchen/dining
room..... I have Windows open all day and the door....
Plenty of fresh air....
