And some like their veggies whole! My tiels like veggies that resemble a stem or a seed, and they want the stemmy ones whole and hanging up in the cage. Stuff like asparagus, cilantro, beans, broccoli florets, and peas in the pod must be hung up. Corn kernels are OK in a bowl.

I've tried shredded, whole, chopped, fresh, cooked, steamed, mashed, etc., U name it ..i've tried it. uggghhh! I wont give up. One day she will realize just how good that stuff is! Its just frustrating..
She likes to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. I offered her an orange, she THREW it behind the couch..then the apple..then the green bean. But lucky me my 2 dogs beg from the birds and will clean up ANY food they drop ahahaha
I know she will come around..food is offered to her daily. She will .she will....i know she will

You could try adding a little seed on top of the foods and it might help. Not a lot, just some to get the bird interested to try it. Your U2 will get some food with the seed. Sally

Yes, it's helpful if you can arrange things so the bird has to at least touch the new food in order to get the stuff she really wants. My birds learned to eat some new things that way.
