I hope English wild plants are similar to the ones you find in your American gardens.
Jan, I am sure you find these regularly in your garden.
I haven't mowed my lawn in a while, and some plants are grown to the point of producing flowers.
There are two in particular, I got many of them, and I was wondering if I can give them to the flock to chew on.
The first one has a flower:

The second is much taller, I think it's the normal lawn grass overgrowing

I was thinking of collecting a few, tie them together and hang for the birds to chew and destroy. I don't think that they'd eat them but I need to be sure that they won't get poisoned.
What you guys think? Are those safe?
