I was going to do the birdseed in the little pot but I had these fancy sprouting seeds that are pretty much guaranteed to sprout and since I've been lazy about actually making sprouts with them, thought I'd use them for the little pot instead.

My husband just put in a new pond in the back yard and filled in the old pond, so I am now using that spot as my attempt at a bird seed garden. I threw down several handfuls of all of the different types of birdseed I have (it's a little ridiculous how many blends I have) and soaked the area. Now that's where I'm throwing the leftovers every day and trying to remember to water the area. We'll see how it goes!
