Egg food is really aimed more at softbills than at parrots. You can give some to your cockatiels if you like, but I'd keep the quantity fairly small.

thank you.
Finally, I have success with Nutriberries! I bought fruit avi-cakes, and my birds eat them! wow, this is exciting as I was throwing away small round balls ( I think they were pelletberries for cockatiels) .

I was glad they liked avi-cakes but maybe it was too early. I got another pack and even though expiration is far ahead, they feel harder than the previous pack. I serve it in a shallow bowl that is placed on the flat surface that is not infinite. They try to eat it but always end up dropping it to the floor. Basically it's wasted \
they didn't like at all Harrison samples I got for free.

thanks, but quite confusing. I know about spinach, but I also thought kale was kind of high, while in this article its even lower than collards, which should be really low according to another article I read. Another article was indicating parsley as relatively low as well.
I also believe that previously you posted a different link but it's OK. I will keep collecting info.

The link that I gave shows the testing results from three different sources, and they don't always agree on whether something is high or low in oxalate. One source says parsley is high and another says it's low. The chemical content of vegetables will vary depending on the soil they were grown in, so it's possible that both of them are right.

It's always been my understanding that kale is low in it, but it's possible that somebody somewhere has said otherwise.

I got classic cockatiel nutriberries in a 12 oz tube. My main problem will be how to keep them fresh - does anyone have an advice? The old tube berries dried out. same problem was with avi cakes. When they are dry and hard, my birds have problem to eat them.

You can always crush them so they look like loose seed.

thank you. I was also kind of frustrated that percent of pellets is very low (I bought it rather spontaneously as add-on item on Amazon and didn't check very well). I guess we will use them as a treat for now. I have two other different brands of pellets (Pretty bird and Roudybush)
I left several balls for them in the bowl and left. There were only crumbles when I came back :)
