Vet said zorro needs more calcium. Tho im told he might not need it till hes bit older. But either way how i get him to eat his cuttlebone.

Just try putting it next to him on the table or something. Curiosity will take over, and he'll start chewing on it for the sake of chewing on it.

I think they might make flavored cuttlebones, too, if he doesn't like the one he has.

Does he eat pellets or Nutriberries? Those have balanced nutrition in them, including the right blend of calcium and the other nutrients needed for calcium absorption. A lot of times the real problem isn't the amount of calcium in the diet, but a lack of the vita min D needed for calcium absorption. Most natural foods don't contain vitamin D so it's hard to get it from the diet without using pellets. Birds can make their own vitamin D if they get outdoors regularly for direct sunlight.

I'm surprised that he has a calcium deficiency already. He must have been eating a lot of handfeeding formula until recently, which should have provided a good nutritional balance.

He eats alot fruit blend pellets. Fruit, today he got peas n carrits. He has a nut, dried fruit mix too. Some seed tho not given him mych of that.

Get a knife and scrap the cuttlefish into
his seed dish... this way he will eat some...
