As you already know, they're nutritionally equivalent to pellets. It's the same ingredients, just not ground up as fine, and held together with a "glue" that has vitamins and minerals in it. The bird thinks it's eating a seed treat, but it's really eating a pellet. Lol you make that sound funny.The birds are being tricked.

I dont think so since the seeds aren't really seeds anymore its like a hulled pellet lol.
