every have pellets that your feathered buddy just will not eat. or pellet dust leftover in the bag. try this:

Parrot Cookies
1 cup of Zupreem flour
3 oz. of organic applesauce
2 Chia eggs ( see below)
coconut water cold
1 teaspoon of finely shredded unsweetened coconut
2 Tablespoons of nuts ground into a paste
2 tablespoons of dried fruit.
Blend flour, chia eggs, applesauce, adding coconut water a tablespoon at a time until well moisten. add nut paste, dried fruit, coconut, stirring until blended. Chill for at least 2 hours in the frig. Dough should be firm. preheat oven to 375 degrees. I use a melon scoop to portion the uniform balls. roll each ball in hands to form tightly packed ball. place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. flatten with damp fingers and bake 20 minutes. makes 18 to 20 quarter sized cookies. they can be frozen after baking for 1 month.

Chia eggs:Chia Egg
1 tablespoon of finely ground Chia seeds
3 tablespoons of warm water
in a small dish combine water and Ground Chia seeds, stir till well combined, cover and let sit in the frig for at the least 20 minutes better 1/2 hour. one Chia egg equals 1 egg yolk. if you grind your own seeds, keep them in the freezer after grinding.

It sounds nice but alas, my guys reject all baked goods made for birds. They want the human cookies not the bird cookies.

This thread makes me think of this art contest winner from a couple of years ago.
