Poppy is so strange. I walked up to him and he was sitting at his water dish, doing the weirdest thing. He would stick his face into the water, wait until a drop moved to the tip of his beak, lick it with his tongue, then drag his tongue along the perimeter of his water dish repeatedly. I don't understand what is going on with this child.

He might be experimenting. Baby birds are still learning about the world and all the things they can do in it. It could be worse. Henry conducted experiments to find the most horrid sound he could make, and he found some that were really bad.

LOL.... Poppy is playing and finding out how
things work and what he can do with them....
He'll do a lot of strange things, but he's young and looking around in the world, to see what he can try next.

Lol Henry sounds like a real character... I love those quirky types!

I had to keep Henry because he was such a brat I figured no one else would want him. I love him to pieces of course.
