My parakeet, Frosty, has been chewing on my windowsills like crazy! I'm afraid I'm going to get in trouble. How do I get her to stop chewing? I'm getting so frustrated! Has anyone had this problem before with his/her bird? If you have, please share about what you did and whether it worked or not.

They peck at and chew the wood and they'll perch atop the cay window curtain in the living room and peck at the wall where the old curtain rod used to be. Normally, they're allowed to be around the window if, and only if, they're behaved. The minute they start pecking and chewing at the wood or wall then they get shooed off.
