Emma seems to like the sound of her own voice. She does lots of chirping. She particularly does it if I have the TV or radio on. She only has one chirp.

Sometimes she loves Piper's attentions. He feeds her very lovingly. But, sometimes, she gets fed up with him. She's more aggressive with open beaking to chase him away at times. Other times, she retreats to her high perch on the boing, where he can't seem to figure out how to follow her. Then, he paces back and forth on the top of the cage, calling to her.

In the morning, Piper and Emma are first out of the cage and fly around the living room in tandem flight.

Our first morning flight here is like standing in the middle of a twister

Dianne, at least Emma chirps... Trilly YELLS!!!
Today she was particularly vocal: I was giving them a rice cake, sitting on the bed, and she came next to me, looked at me and started shouting, all the time looking at me. Then she jumped on the floor in front of me, turned to face me and started shouting again.
I really don't know why she does that. I suspect that she is protesting because she has no nest. I can't figure out what else it is that she's trying to tell me.

I love to see them fly. We had to trim Snowflakes wings because she was getting impossible to get back in her cage when we wanted her to go in. She loved playing "catch me if you can". I feel bad for her but she equally hates being caught and restrained. Now I can pick her up and cuddle her just a little til I get her in her cage and she is getting better about not struggling so hard.
