I have three swings in the flight cage. The smallest swing is where Emma likes to go for the night. It's funny that she's the biggest bird, but likes the smallest swing. I find it very cute how she gets on her swing when she sees me coming with the cage cover.

The last few nights I have noticed that Silver goes over to Emma's swing after she gets on it and forces her off it. He doesn't get on the swing himself--he likes to sleep at the top of the boing in the cage. After he chases her off her swing, he goes over to the boing and sets himself up there. Sometimes she will then get back onto her swing and he will leave her alone. But, tonight she didn't. I don't know why he is doing this, and I feel bad for Emma :-(.

What to do?

Is it possible for Silver to sleep in a different cage for a few nights? Maybe that would help break this habit. Or maybe put him in the cage first and let him get settled down on his boing before you put her in.
