I'm really curious.

Emma seems to think that the screen of my laptop is the BEST place to poop. She flies over, lands on top of it, turns her back to me, and poops on the screen

Can anyone guess WHY she does this?

I've just been happy that she wants to be anywhere close to me. However, it's getting a bit old especially when she comes over, poops, and flies away. Is she trying to tell me something?

It's not a huge deal. I keep a box of tissues handy. I guess I could just wave her away when she land on the computer. Is that a good idea?

Silver (such a good boy) never poops on me or on the computer.

Sounds to me that she likes a good joke!

I think she just has a sense of humor. Mine do stuff like that all the time.

Maybe she enjoys seeing your reaction.

Your comments made me smile.

Actually, I purposely haven't been reacting, other than to grab a tissue and wipe. Last few days, though, I have started expressing mild disapproval. We'll see if that makes any difference.

Tonight Emma did something really interesting. She was in the area of my chair. She may have been trying to chew on the lapboard keys, and I may have been blocking her with my hand. At any rate, she took off flying and absolutely SOARED around to living room several time, doing dips along the way. Then, she got on top of the cage and looked at me. I praised her, and she did the whole performance again.

Yesterday, I came our to the living room with spray bottle to mist the cockatiels, which I hadn't done in a while. Emma was on top of the TV and I held out my arm and, to my surprise, she jumped right on. I took her over to the top of the cage and gave her a nice shower, which she absolutely LOVED.

She is a very interesting bird. She's got a lot going on in that little head of hers.

I always wonder what goes on in my birds heads.
