My sun conure has started head bobbing. At first I was very worried because it looked like he was regurgitate (rapid head bobbing with beak opened) but there was no sound or food that came out. He did this 3 times last week. I just looked at videos on youtube and I saw a sun conure do the same thing he was doing. Is this normal? If it is, how can i encourage it? I would like to teach him to dance to music. I think that would be pretty cool.

Pay lots of attention to him when you see him doing it to encourage the behavior, and if you have a treat handy you can give him that too right after he finishes. Edit: maybe the author isn't actually on that group any more since I looked just now and don't see her posting in the last few months. But there's another highly skilled bird trainer giving advice.
