My male cockatiel, Lucky, is showing some physical anger and frustration. He and Rosey have eggs in the nest so I know some is his hormones, but sometimes it's also anger because I was near the nest. He is not at all aggressive otherwise but now he gets mad and fights the basketball goal in his cage! He will fling the ball around at a rate of 90 bites per minute! Lol. I don't care that he does it, but I sure hope his anger doesn't get worse as he finishes maturing. He's only about a year old, if that. Someone tell me it won't get worse...please! I feel so bad for him.

It's natural for males to defend their nest area, and the tamest males tend to be the most vicious defenders because they're less afraid of you than an untame bird is. It'll get better when the breeding period is over.
