Hello, I'm back. I hadn't uploaded anything because I've been very busy at school lately, but now I feel like I have a little more freedom.

So anyways, Coco's been very "singy" right now, I put "" because it's no art. He sounds quite, umm, exquisite? I don't know, just have a look:

There's a lot more going on that I want to talk about, but I'll make separate posts for each thing.

PS: It's hard to catch up on this website! So much activity!

Welcome back! I wonder whether Coco is a boy or a girl. That song is a little bit fancy for a hen, but it's pretty bad for a male lol.

That actually sounds a lot like Lucy's "singing", though more constant. Lucy kind of does it in short phrases with few-second intervals of silence, and it sounds more like "chattering" rather than singing. Most male cockatiels that sing, whistle, but the chirps she makes sounds like she's trying to talk.

It sounds like Coco's trying to whistle, but can't quite get it right. Maybe he/she is just starting to learn? Playing recordings of other cockatiels singing might peak Coco's interest. Here's one of my favorites:

It is. Now don't get me wrong, I know it's quite small and round cages are undesired, but I had no other choice but separating him/her. He/She was being a bully to Pip and Kiwi, so I had to separate him from the birdy flock. He/She is currently in my room in that temporary cage.

IKR! It's kinda tiring to say he/she prounouns, I'm just gonna call him/her he untill I know for sure. Although I do feel like he is a male, I really can't be too sure to make a statement just yet, so I'll have to wait :D

That is also one in my favorites! I saw it before I considered getting Coco! But I forgot all about it!

I think that we can all agree that Coco is Coco, and maybe we should just refer to Coco as such.

We would probably get real tired of saying "Coco" after a while.

You're lucky Coco sings in front of you though. Lucy will do it if I'm at a distance, and if I turn on any kind of camera, she'll immediately shut up. Then, when I give up and turn the camera off, she starts AGAIN! I'm hoping that I can at least get her to do this more often, by praising her and giving her treats. Then I can eventually get it on camera. :)

Coco is the same exact age as Lucy, since they both hatched on April 30th this year. :) I know because Coco was also bought from Carolyn.
