I haven't really said anything about me in a while. Here's yet another Dan update. Sorry if you don't really care about it, but I still feel like I should share his life just a bit at least since I got him back in August. He's a very sweet little guy, extremely quiet he loves to play with his toys. He's pretty cuddly.

But lately, I've been desensitizing him to pretty much everything. Rearranging his cage setup, different ways to touch him (which I did when he was a baby) and in general just kind of pushing his limits. Some days when I come up, he'll kind of duck away a bit. I'll keep on him a bit and when he remembers I'm a friend, he'll relax and talk. Then I give him his release. I've removed his food during the day and only give him his "good food" (seeds) when I come by each time. It doesn't bother me because I knew since day one, he's always going to be a very shy bird. But at least I know he trusts me. If not, I wouldn't push his limits as much as I do.

Ah I feel ya, Cheerio has been the same, but he's doing much better!

He's such a pretty boy. Has he gotten comfortable with Jaid and the budgies yet?

I'm surprised he's so reserved, blue crowns seem to be quite rowdy conures from what I've known of them! He's absolutely beautiful though, thank you for the update

He was cool with them quite a while ago actually.

He's one of the calmest birds I've ever owned. And one of the quietest. He's a sweetheart.
