Does he not like the greenroom or something? Because Danny is night and day if I take him out of it. Inside the greenroom he's scared of everything, cries and never talks. In my room, he calls me by my name, is way more curious about things I give him and doesn't run away from me. Why does he do this? I always knew he was shy, but I've never seen this before. He likes being on his own, in complete silence. He flourishes like this. And we're not loud people either, so the greenroom isn't a disaster or anything. TV in the background and Jaid, who's relatively quiet. But it's really weird how his behavior switches like that.

He may need more time to get used to it. Do what you can to make it fun for him to be in that room, for example give him some special treats when he's there. Look around to see if there's anything that might be particularly scary to a bird, including things that he can see outside the window.

The whole room is nothing but windows. It's a sun room.

Having so much outdoor area to look at might be intimidating for him. He might be more comfortable if you give him a little shelter that he can hang out in, at least until he starts feeling more secure. A small cage with a cloth draped across the top would work.
