What kind of netting is this? This would be awesome to let my tiels fly a bit in an enclosed, outdoor space. Or for future references when I live on my own as the bird lady.

I don't know, but that is one awesome aviary. I love how the grass is exposed so the bird poop can fertilize it.

I can't tell from the picture, but it doesn't look like it would hold up to a macaw's beak. If Elmo ever decides to hang on the netting and start chewing, he'll be outta there in a few seconds. It would take longer for a cockatiel or budgie to chew their way out, but they could probably do it.

grass is exposed to poop as well as it's exposed to the bird with poop of wild birds too, all possible insects, fleas, mites, you name it ! If I see it right and the bird can land on grass

on the bright side, macaw would be easier to look for in the wild than a cockatiel or a budgie (that's a black humor guys)

I believe this is the same netting I tried to use to devide my birds in my aviary at first.

I wouldn't recomend it for smaller birds. I had one Budgie caught in there and hy hanged himself...
