One large finch flight cage used to be suggested for one Cockatiel, if I remember correctly. And you can put the playgym on top of it.

Bluekeet: Thank you very much for your input!! Your reply has really helped me b/c I was looking at the smaller F040. I'm wondering if getting the bigger one would be ok for Tiki2. I really like the extra horizontal area with 6" longer and 2.5"wider. I certainly have enough room for it. It makes me think that I would also be able to get another tiel later on.

Barbara: Yes, I read that about finch cages! And a small play gym for him would fit on the top.

I have to think about this - F040 or F050??? I'll post back.

If you have the space and the money for either one, I would say go for the bigger one. You'll probably be happier with it in the long run.

Which cage did you get in the end?

Carolyn & Jan: You convinced me, Carolyn, so to answer your question too Jan, I ordered the big one - the F050. I would love it if I could see a pic of your set up, Carolyn. I know you have a good-sized flock but if I could see some of the ways this size of cage is set up, I could get some better ideas than the few I have. Image

It will be here by April 16th. I forgot it takes 4-6 wks. So having to learn patience!!!!

I forgot to add the link to this cage I bought. Thinking it would be nice to have it in here so if others are looking for a cage they would have this link:
