I went looking again for the budgie shower video. I couldn't find the one I wanted, but here's another (different in that the water comes from on top, like yours):

That's a nice setup!

My bird shower looks similar to this. It has to be used outdoors (in the aviary or in cages) because I don't want to spray a gallon or two of water on the carpet.

I replied on your aviary thread. If you need detailed instructions, I can write them down for you.

I would love that, please :)

Also,do you mins explaining me how it works? I am cracking my head trying to figure it out. How does the air pump make the water go around? Sorry for the extremely stupid question.

Also, what tool did you use to make the holes?

Your window guards have given me an idea! I don't need to protect against glass impacts, since I have window blinds in the bird room that let light through and prevent crashes. But I can't open the windows to let some air through when the birds are out of the cage because they might chew holes in the screen, which is light and flimsy like most window screens. I'm going to make wire-covered frames similar to yours but use them a bit differently. The idea is that I'll open the window, put the wire frame in the opening, then slide the window shut to the point that it holds the frame in place. Air can pass through the regular window screen and the hardware cloth screen but birds can't reach the regular screen. The blinds will be down with the slats in the 'open' position, so the glass isn't a hazard and the air flow isn't impeded. Kind of hard to describe, so I'll post a picture when it's done.

All my windows in my house have that. I'll take a picture for you to see.

Thanks. That looks like regular window screening to me, although it might be a heavy duty type to deal with the heavy duty insects in Florida. The screens on my windows are pretty lightweight, and a cockatiel beak could tear holes in them without too much trouble. So I want to make a stronger screen to put on top of the ordinary screen, with a little space between them to keep the beaks away from the ordinary screen.

It's not a stupid question at all. I scratched my brain for a long time deciding how to make it.
I will make a video showing you all the components and how they are put together.
There are probably other ways to make a bird fountain so probably once you have seen the video you will decide to make some changes. I am very interested in seeing what you will come up with!
